Magical Moments (MM) Terms and Conditions

  • All items belong to Magical Moments (MM) at all times

  • During the time while the items are being hired, The Hirer (person named on booking form) shall be solely responsible for the hired goods.

  • MM will not be responsible for injury or damage to either persons, buildings or property howsoever might be sustained arising from our goods under hire.

  • Parking must be available at all times whilst we are on site,

 

 

Deposits, Payments & Cancellation:

  • MM require a 50% Refundable Deposit of the total amount being hired. We cannot secure the booking until we have received the payment of this deposit. This will be returned once all hired stock has been returned checked by MM

  • MM will then still require the full amount of the hire item(s) and this is due one month prior to your set up date.

  • The final balance is due one month prior to your set up date. If you fail to pay your balance by the required date, we reserve the right to cancel your order and in the event that another event wishes to book for that day, they will take priority if a deposit has been received from them.

  • Cancellation by the hirer will result in the forfeit of the deposit if cancelled less than one month prior to the hire date.

  • If the date you are booking to hire the item(s) for is within one month from when you book, you will be required to pay the full amount and the additional refundable deposit which is 50% of the total cost, all at once.

  • Refundable deposits will be returned by bank transfer within 7 days of collection of goods. To the name and address stated on the booking invoice only. We will not issue refunds to any other name or address than that shown on the signed booking form.

 

Damaged & Missing Items

  • All items are checked and counted by MM when we set up. In the event of any shortages or damages that may have been overseen by MM, the Hirer should notify MM within 12 hours of delivery. If the Hirer does not notify us by then, The Goods will be deemed to be delivered in correct condition.

  • Charges will be made for any damaged goods that may occur while they are hired out.

  • Shortages and damages to hired goods will be charged at full replacement value and delivery to MM. Substitutes of items will not be accepted by MM.

  • MM will inform The Hirer within 7 days, in writing of any damages or missing items on the order. The hirer will then be charged at full replacement cost plus delivery to MM. Any charges will be deducted from the refundable security deposit and where value exceeds the refundable security deposit an invoice will be issued to the hirer of the amount required.

  • Any damaged items still remain the property of MM

  • Invoice will be due for payment within 14 days. Failure to make payment will incur a £30 late payment fee. Invoices still not settled within 30 days of issue will be sent to an external debt collection agency with fees of £150+ being added to the account to cover costs.
